Windows are an important part of your home or office. They allow streams of natural light to enter, as well as fresh air and beautiful views. However, one unattractive feature is their ability to allow pesky bugs and insects in. Well we have a solution, Bravo retractable window screens.
Our custom window screen allow you to enjoy all the features of your windows without the invasion of the bugs and insects. Our screens are made from the highest quality materials and workmanship. Our screen's mesh is designed to allow the maximum amount of light to enter, while still maintaining your beautiful views without obscuring or obstructing them.
Bravo retractable window screen extends from the top down - just pull down & lock. Our screen can be fitted in any style or make of casement window with handle locks or cranks openers, as well as for use with Dutch doors.
When you release the screen, it will NOT slam back into its casing. This is because Bravo has designed all of our screens with our patented hydraulic clutch system that prevents slamming upon release.
The cassette is available in a variety of colors to match or blend in with your window frame. The screen are available as inside or surface mount on your windows.
Their are 2 screen mesh types available: fiberglass screen mesh and solar coated screen mesh. Both screen mesh types wil block 100% of the insects out, but the solar coated mesh filters out 65% of the sun's heat and glare. This provides you with a safer and more comfortable screened space.
How to Measure
1. Use a steel measuring tape & Measure to the nearest eighth of an inch - don't round your measurements.
2. Reversing width and height when measuring. Width is the side-to-side measurement. Height is the top-to-bottom measurement. The width is always given before the height of the Door or window. For example, an order 48 x 72 would be manufactured 48 inches wide by 72 inches high. To avoid confusion, as you measure put a W next to width measurement and an H by the height measurement.
3. Not checking the measurements in three places on both the width and height of the door or window will cause in the wrong size. Use a ladder or stool to reach the top of high windows. Many windows are not square, so the width should be measured at the top, in the middle and at the bottom. Also check the height of the window in the middle and at both sides. When placing your order use the smallest size of the three measurements.
4. Not allowing for obstructions that will hamper the operation of the blind. The most common obstructions are inside the window frame are window cranks and handles. We can provide fold down window cranks for most windows.
